Looking for board members

  • by

Wild Embrace is looking for at least two new members who would like to have more involvement. As a board volunteer, you help steer the organization and put our mission into action.

Currently we are a small but mighty team, so your voice would go a long way!

We are in need of support for two key roles:

Secretary
– take minutes during monthly board meeting
– send out meeting minutes
– keep documents in order
– be aware of annual registration dates

Treasurer
– help maintain transparency of funds
– review invoices and bank statements
– prepare annual report

Training and support will be provided, so if you don’t have experience but are keen to learn, please reach out!

As our organization values equity, sustainability and inclusion, our priority is to add folks who are Indigenous, Black, or Non-Black People of Colour, LGBTQIA2S+ folks, Persons with Disabilities, and folks from other equity-seeking groups.

*We are lacking Indigenous representation on the board, this would be a priority at this time.

If you’re interested in discussing whether this would be a good fit for you, please reach out to us through email. Reminder that board members must first become members, which you can do for free here!
